here's a post from the movie forums:
"Do go and see the movie at the theater. It is worth the 40 minute drive. This movie is INCOMPARABLE when seen on the big screen. Anyone who loves Blade Runner and has the chance should see it BIG at least once. Oh....the restoration and transfer were awesome. It looked like a movie that was just made yesterday......beautiful. I saw the original theatrical release of Blade Runner in the theaters when I was a kid. I I thought it looked cool but it was too "boring" and "talky" for me then. I was kinda hoping for another Star Wars. Of course, now I love the movie and am KICKING MYSELF in the butt for not going to see this re-release! WHAT WAS I THINKING? Oh well, I still do have some of those amazing images from the original big-screen print burnt into my retinas.
